DRAMALJ EXTENSION

Projekt dogradnje vrtića i škole temelji se na pažljivoj transformaciji postojeće povijesne građevine kroz jasan odnos starog i novog. Dva nova prizemna volumena oblikovana su suvremenim arhitektonskim izrazom koji metodom kontrasta naglašava identitet zatečene strukture, bez imitacije njezinih oblikovnih elemenata. Organski oblikovani aneksi otvaraju se prema vanjskim prostorima igre i boravka, stvarajući sigurno i poticajno okruženje za djecu. Posebna pažnja posvećena je mjerilu, ambijentu i odnosu građevine prema mediteranskom krajoliku i postojećem vrtu.

The kindergarten and school extension project is based on the careful transformation of an existing historic building through a clear relationship between old and new. Two new ground-floor volumes are designed in a contemporary architectural language that uses contrast to emphasize the identity of the existing structure, without imitating its formal elements. The organically shaped additions open towards outdoor play and gathering areas, creating a safe and stimulating environment for children. Special attention was given to scale, atmosphere, and the relationship between the building, the Mediterranean landscape, and the existing garden.
